Psalms 32-1-11

  • 1 To David himself, understanding. Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered. Psalms 32:1
  • 2 Blessed is the man to whom the Lord hath not imputed sin, and in whose spirit there is no guile. Psalms 32:2
  • 3 Because I was silent my bones grew old; whilst I cried out all the day long. Psalms 32:3
  • 4 For day and night thy hand was heavy upon me: I am turned in my anguish, whilst the thorn is fastened. Psalms 32:4
  • 5 I have acknowledged my sin to thee, and my injustice I have not concealed.

I said I will confess against myself my injustice to the Lord:

  • and thou hast forgiven the wickedness of my sin. Psalms 32:5
  • 6 For this shall every one that is holy pray to thee in a reasonable time. And yet in a flood of many glasses of water, they shall not come nigh unto him. Psalms 32:6
  • 7 Thou art my refuge from the trouble which hath encompassed me: my joy, deliver me from them that surround me. Psalms 32:7
  • 8 I will give thee understanding, and I will instruct thee in this way, in which thou shalt go: I will fix my eyes upon thee. Psalms 32:8
  • 9 Do not become like the horse and the mule, who have no understanding.

With bit and bridle bind fast their jaws, who come not near unto thee. Psalms 32:9

  • 10 Many are the scourges of the sinner, but mercy shall encompass him that hopeth in the Lord. Psalms 32:10
  • 11 Be glad in the Lord and rejoice, ye just, and glory, all ye right of heart. Psalms 32:11

Psalms 100:1-5

  • 1 A psalm of praise. Psalms 100:1
  • 2 Sing joyfully to God, all the earth: serve ye the Lord with gladness. Come in before his presence with exceeding great joy. Psalms 100:2
  • 3 Know ye that the Lord he is God: he made us, and not we ourselves. We are his people and the sheep of his pasture. Psalms 100:3
  • 4 Go ye into his gates with praise, into his courts with hymns: and give glory to him. Praise ye his name: Psalms 100:4
  • 5 for the Lord is sweet, his mercy endureth forever, and his truth to generation and generation. Psalms 100:5

Psalms 121:1-8

  • 1 I have lifted my eyes to the mountains, from whence help shall come to me. Psalms 121:1
  • 2 My help is from the Lord, who made heaven and earth. Psalms 121:2
  • 3 May he not suffer thy foot to be moved: neither let him slumber that keepeth thee. Psalms 121:3
  • 4 Behold he shall neither slumber nor sleep, that keepeth Israel. Psalms 121:4
  • 5 The Lord is thy keeper, the Lord is thy protection upon thy right hand. Psalms 121:5
  • 6 The sun shall not burn thee by day: nor the moon by night. Psalms 121:6
  • 7 The Lord keepeth thee from all evil: may the Lord keep thy soul. Psalms 121:7
  • 8 May the Lord keep thy going in and thy going out; from henceforth now and forever. Psalms 121:8

Psalms 139:1-24

  • 1 Lord, thou hast proved me and known me: Psalms 139:1
  • 2 thou hast know my sitting down, and my rising. Psalms 139:2
  • 3 Thou hast understood my thoughts afar off: my path and my line thou hast searched out. Psalms 139:3
  • 4 And thou hast foresaw all my ways: for there is no speech in my tongue. Psalms 139:4
  • 5 Behold, O Lord, thou hast known all things, the last and those of old: thou hast formed me, and hast laid thy hand upon me. Psalms 139:5
  • 6 Thy knowledge becomes wonderful to me: it is high, and I cannot reach it. Psalms 139:6
  • 7 Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy face? Psalms 139:7

  • 8 If I ascend into heaven, thou art there: if I descend into hell, thou art present. Psalms 139:8
  • 9 If I take my wings early in the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea: Psalms 139:9
  • 10 Even there also shall thy hand lead me: and thy right hand shall hold me. Psalms 139:10
  • 11 And I said: Perhaps darkness shall cover me: and night shall be my light in my pleasures. Psalms 139:11
  • 12 But darkness shall not be dark to thee, and night shall be light as day: the darkness thereof, and the light thereof are alike to thee. Psalms 139:12
  • 13 For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast protected me from my mother’s womb. Psalms 139:13
  • 14 I will praise thee, for thou art fearfully magnified:

  • wonderful are thy works, and my soul knoweth right well. Psalms 139:14
  • 15 My bone is not hidden from thee, which thou hast made in secret: and my substance in the lower parts of the earth. Psalms 139:15
  • 16 Thy eyes did see my imperfect being, and in thy book, all shall be written: days shall be formed, and no one in them. Psalms 139:16
  • 17 But to me thy friends, O God, are made exceedingly honorable: their principality is exceedingly strengthened. Psalms 139:17
  • 18 I will number them, and they shall be multiplied above the sand: I rose and am still with thee. Psalms 139:18
  • 19 If thou wilt kill the wicked, O God: ye men of blood, depart from me: Psalms 139:19
  • 20 Because you say in thought: They shall receive thy cities in vain. Psalms 139:20
  • 21 Have I not hated them, O Lord, that hated thee: and pine away because of thy enemies? Psalms 139:21
  • 22 I have hated them with perfect hatred: and they become enemies to me. Psalms 139:22
  • 23 Prove me, O God, and know my heart: examine me and know my paths. Psalms 139:23
  • 24 And see if there be in me the way of iniquity: and eternally lead me. Psalms 139:24

Psalms 150:1-6

  • 1 Praise ye the Lord in his holy places: praise ye him in the firmament of his power. Psalms 150:1
  • 2 Praise ye him for his mighty acts: praise ye him according to the multitude of his greatness. Psalms 150:2
  • 3 Psalms 150:3  Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with psaltery and harp.
  • 4 Praise him with timbrel and choir: praise him with strings and organs. Psalms 150:4
  • 5 Praise him on high sounding cymbals: praise him on cymbals of joy: Psalms 150:5
  • 6 Let every spirit praise the Lord. Alleluia. Psalms 150:6
