I have come to realize that people are often “unconscious, what they do not know”. Did you find what you are doing? We all think we know about a topic or industry until we take the time to read about this topic, and I know that is not what I think it is!

I have found this to be very true when it comes to networks. People often think they know what they are doing and why they are at a party without understanding what good communication skills are all about. As a result, they do not receive the results they hoped for.
I believe there is a formula that will support anyone who wishes to consolidate their business to succeed. One of the main reasons why so many people contact the network is to get a ‘transfer’ but to do this, we need to build good relationships. This does not happen unless you do something.

- Do you know who you want to meet and who your real expectations are?
We need to know and understand our niche market so we know where and when to connect.
Communication is not just about attending events and hoping that something magical will happen to your business because you have given people your business card. It’s about building relationships with the people you meet and your loved ones and maybe their own business and personal relationships. You need to take action to get the first step, because, if you wait for them, it will not happen!
I urge people to first consider WHY they have a network, as ‘why’ helps you to understand what to do.
A different ‘why’ means you will be networked differently. Once you have ‘why’ you need to consider where and where your niche market is and look for the type of events that will support you to meet the people you need to achieve your result.
Once you know ‘why’, ‘where’, ‘what’, and ‘who’, you need to learn ‘WHAT’ to ‘get the lawyers you want to get. Your ‘famous fans’ are the people who will bring you to your business!
For me, my business and personal communication are very important. I see them as one thing. I enjoy helping and supporting anyone when people appreciate what I have to give them.

One of the best investments you can make as an individual or a business person in your personal development. As a business owner, you can only grow when your skills and knowledge can take you.
Here are some tips for professional communication as a professional.
1) Exceed Your Appearance.
Let your outfit be the talk of the town. Wear something that makes you feel like a million dollars and helps you express confidence.
Bring a killing aid such as a different PIN, scarf, or shoes that make you alert. Make a good first impression that makes people think “I have to meet that person.”
2) Prepare Yourself Mentally.
Know your purpose for being there. Love what you do and make it shine.
What do you want to learn? Look at the list of speakers and make a point of greeting them. Ask yourself what 3 types of people you would like to meet. Get specific. Visualize the people in the morning before the workshop or conference.
This will help you to attract the right kind of communication that you will benefit most from.
3) Show Quickly.
Arrive overtime to grab a coffee, visit the vendor’s tables, and get to know a few people before everything starts to get busy. Be aware of people you feel you can contact and start a conversation with.
Arriving early also allows you to get a seat close enough to see and hear exactly what is happening on stage.
4) Be a Giver.
Have you ever met someone who feels they want something from you? It gives off really bad energy, doesn’t it? Prevent this from happening to you by transferring your energy to the abundance and wondering how you can help others better.
When you meet someone be curious. They know. Ask questions. Find out how you can help this person.
There is always an app, recommendation, contact, letter, tip, or tool you can provide to help someone.
Can you interview them on your podcast? Can you update their book on your blog? Can you host a webinar with them? While at the WOW event, I recorded 3 eTips videos and made a few Facebook LIVE videos. How can you manage your time?
5) Request Their Business Card.
It is always best to ask for someone else’s card. Asking for their card sounds better than throwing yours in their hand.
And that leaves you in control so you can post a follow-up when you return from the event.
Make a note of what you read or talked about on the card so that you can refer to it later.
Social Media is a great tool for building and maintaining relationships. Take a bunch of photos at an event to share on social media.
Make Facebook LIVE in place. Your fans want to see where you are. Take pictures and speakers with other people you meet.

You can also send these photos to friends you meet on your track.
Try to tag them on social media and shout out how much it was fun to meet them. You can attach a photo with them to the tracking email. This is a heartfelt way of sharing the warmth of a new connection.
7) Change it Up.
Try to sit with different people during the day. Join the groups after dinner and discussion. Sometimes a chit-chat that takes place before and after an event can lead to excellent connections.
8) Go and Mike.
If there is a Q&A opportunity, turn up the microphone and let your question be heard. You will have the opportunity to introduce yourself throughout the room and get expert answers to your question.
Most of the time people will come to you and then say how they relate to what you have shared.
9) Give Evidence.
If you liked the event, talk about it. Tell the event organizer and provide proof. You can also record Facebook video evidence and tag the event coordinator on social media.
Email a written confirmation to the event host. They may post it on their website and give you great exposure.
10) Love ’em Up.
There is a Chinese proverb that says “The sweet fragrance clings to the hand that gives flowers.” When you return home after an event, the most important part is to track and improve the relationships you have formed.
Here is a quality strategy, not a price. Sort by using the cards you received. Minimize yourself to a few real contacts and send a warm, genuine email.

As a child, I was quiet and timid by nature. When I started in business, I was a 15-year-old uncomfortable and uncomfortable person in my 6’4 “frame. And although in my world today I enjoy communicating with people, talking on the phone. And I have a team of people I work with daily, and some members of my team are inexperienced people.

I think the biggest misconception about introverts is that they don’t like people. It’s not fair. Most introverts enjoy getting to know people and most extroverts do not like people. People also think that introverts are shy and extroverts are the life of a group. Unfortunately, that is completely wrong.
The difference between introverts and extroverts is the way they charge.
What I mean by that is that when importers need to rejuvenate their mind, body, and soul, they choose to do it on their own; extroverts, on the other hand, want to do it with a group of people.
How do you know if you are an introvert or an extrovert? However, testing is easy.
If you feel encouraged to spend a lot of time with people, you are probably a person who loves people. Also, if you are in a group, you often find that your energy level expires later, you may be a beginner.

Imagine for a second you were transposed into the karmic-driven world of Earl. For the interviewers, attending conferences and meetings is empowering. They love this. Mention the conference, and the extrovert is there; introvert, not so much.
So, how can an introduction work effectively in a network? Communication is important in finding a new job or developing a business for entrepreneurs. Here’s the deal — it doesn’t have to be a temptation to worry.
Are introverts unlucky in this day and age? We have the Internet. We have many forums and forums where anyone who enters the information can research and participate in all computer comforts. LinkedIn, Facebook groups, Meet-Ups, and a host of others (e.g. professional organizations) provide an opportunity for an introduction to meet people and participate in discussions before attending any meeting, event or conference.
Focus on the Power:
Most presenters like to interact with people face-to-face or to talk about small group settings. Use that power. Instead of focusing on the big events, play on your natural abilities. If there is a small group meeting in the workplace, go to it. Also, once you have found someone close to you, meet that person with a 30-minute coffee cup. Quick and defined meeting.
Before any meeting or network event, prepare. You will be asked by someone to share a little about you. Practice your cash voice. Give a brief overview of what you are doing and give the person who is asking one or two points about what you want to achieve. One of the things I have learned in business and health is to travel long distances. Maintain relationships. Once you meet the people you are in contact with, keep the relationship growing. Send them an email from time to time with something they are interested in. Pick them up and call them for their advice. People love to give you their ideas and advice. If you have friends in the business, go out with them regularly during the day, or even have a business dinner.
Big League Events:
Eventually, moreover, you will probably end up attending a major event or conference. I think a lot of people feel uncomfortable with those kinds of jobs. Remember that. Of all the fun and excitement you see in these things, I can bet that half of those in attendance are introverts and feel comfortable no matter what it looks like. Once you realize that you are not alone, it should help you to relax.
There is also a small strategy that you can use to help you work in the room.
Just have a lot of quick conversations. If you know someone you can immediately introduce yourself, “Hello, sorry to interrupt. I wanted to meet you, but I see you are busy. Please just get your business card, and I will give you an email after the conference?”
Or, you can try this, “Sorry to interrupt.
I’ll be leaving in a few minutes, but I see (title/organization) in your name tag that you are one of the people I wanted to meet. You did a great job. Please give me your business card and I’ll email you after the event as a follow-up?” Collect business cards. Most people at social media events do not mind giving away their business cards. Then, track by email or phone.

Do not leave your network by accident. Take the time needed to prepare for your events. Preparation can include practicing your elevator, writing a few interview questions, or staying up to date with current or industry events. Anticipate the people you wish to meet and plan accordingly.
Have a Network Mind
If you feel too scared to attend events alone, reach out to people in your networks. Invite your friends, coworkers, or coworkers as your guest. Ask them to attend the events they are attending. Contact the organizer or host of the organization using the social media platform and make pre-network communication. What you know is as important as what you know when you are trying to maximize your success. There are many stories of someone who did not qualify for a position based on talent but got it anyway because of someone he knew.
We often hear leaders say “attend social media events and meet more people. Grow your business” yet we all went to a party where we wanted to meet people and communicate but the room was divided into small groups making it difficult to approach anyone. Have you ever noticed the importance of communication between people in starting and maintaining a successful business?
Whether it’s social networking sites (i.e.. Facebook) or a social networking event (i.e., local Chamber of Commerce); many vendors owe a significant amount of their business relationships to their network connection.
It seems that meeting people face-to-face and building direct relationships with them can give you the upper hand in getting more referrals and compliments.
The fact is, though, that most people do not feel comfortable talking to each other in person.
Think about it.
If you are in pain and need a checkup, you are more likely to go to the doctor for a checkup. Or, what are the chances of you visiting a friend at his house where you can immediately call, text, or email?
Statistics show that 40% of people communicate online instead of face-to-face. 400 million tweets is the average number of tweets sent per day.
What does that tell you?
It tells me, that while you yearn for relationships, communication with successful businesses; you do not have the social skills and confidence needed to make your wishes come true.
So, if you want to build long-term relationships and make your network events productive and profitable, these three feelings will see you in any face-to-face communication or network event:
Ask questions. Answer the questions. Give them something good to think about. Questions are powerful. You need to present your business as a solution to their problem. However, you will not know their problem until you ask what they do and how they work. Ask “How is a typical day in your business?” or Ask “What everyday challenges do you see that make you lose time or money?” When you ask these kinds of questions, it increases their need for sharing and your need to understand how your businesses can work together.
Know what you want to achieve from a networking event. Need more directors? Do you need more contacts? Do you need to hire someone? Do you need a particular service or type of professional? What service can you use for your business? What kind of business will make the most difference in your business? Do not download a business card unless you plan to contact them within the next 48 hours. The more you know about their business and the needs of your business, the more you will introduce yourself and your business.
Attend these events in the hope that these brief interactions will create new challenges, new opportunities, and new ideas for business growth and innovation. Face-to-face contact events give you an advantage, in business, over other people because it allows business owners to paste information, face to face. People have long memories of someone with a certain knowledge; unlike text or email.
Your emotions play a vital role in creating and maintaining a successful business relationship in any networking event.
